About me
I'm Teri. I am 52 years old, and I've been overweight most of my adult life. My diet and exercise program have me feeling better than I have ever felt before. I have lost close to 100 pounds since I began the Carbohydrate Addict's Lifespan Program in 2008, without starving or depriving myself in any way.
I am getting myself into better shape and my goal of becoming fit and healthy is getting closer every day. This will be my lifelong way of eating because I am happy to say that it comes natural to me!

Progress pictures
Teri, thanks so much for sharing your progress pictures. I find myself revisiting your photos for the inspiration they provide plus the visual evidence of what this way of eating can accomplish.
If I may summarize: YOU LOOK GREAT! And so much younger!

Proud & Embarrassed
Thank you, I feel wonderful. Believe it or not, when these pictures were taken I had already lost about sixty pounds and was feeling pretty good about myself. Looking back, I am embarrassed that I still looked like that after losing all that weight.
As time permits, I will be adding pictures that show my progress from beginning to now. I wish I could say end, but I am not there yet. I know that it is only a matter of time before I get to the point where I will be satisfied with my weight, or in my case, loss of more body fat, because it is disappearing slowly.
When it comes to the scale, I step on it every morning even though I do not average my weight. It is great to see the numbers fall, but it messes with our minds when it does not move, or even worse, pops up a few pounds. We all want the weight gone now, but it takes time for the inches to disappear.
I believe this is a wonderful lifestyle to follow because I can now eat like a normal person. It has taken me three years to get to the point where I am right now. I have found a lifestyle that is perfect for me to follow and I am getting myself fit and healthy in the process.
Your journey will be rewarding for you too!
