Results of my Seventeenth Month on CALP
It is already the end of September and I have not updated my results in a couple of months. Since my Sixteenth month was in June, I still have July and August to catch up with. I may not have been updating my monthly results but I have been keeping up with my way of eating. I made sure to weigh and measure myself at the beginning of each month and will be including those statistics at the end of each post. I feel it is important for me to keep up with my daily menus and I do try and make sure to get them published on a daily basis.
I am still happy following this way of eating. It is still hard to believe how following the guidelines of the program continues to remain easy for me. I still have a sweet tooth but the difference is that I am now in control of it.
I really love this program because there are no foods that I must include into my program that I do not like. I get to eat the foods that I enjoy and don't have to eat anything that I do not want. I happen to love food and making sure to balance the right combinations allows me to include anything that I want on that particular day.
I took my girls and sister on a seven day adventure and we all had a really good time. I made sure to pack my Walk Away the Pounds workouts and I also took my 10 Minute Solutions with me. I was able to get a workout everyday, some days with the dvd's and the other days I counted all the walking I was doing as my workout.
My sister decided to try CALP while we were away and she ended up losing three pounds in seven days. She was not convinced that the way of eating is what allowed her to lose the three pounds and gave some credit to the amount of walking we did.
We went to Universal Studios one day and we all bought ourselves an all you can eat pass. I suspected I was not going to stick to my program by buying the pass and when the day was over I actually learned something. I didn't go crazy with food but I did eat chicken strips twice that day and had an ice cream later in the evening. I did not get sick or anything but I did not feel as good as I normally do when I follow my program. I am actually glad that I went off plan for the day because I am now convinced that I really enjoy following the program and it was not difficult at all for me to get right back on plan the following day.

About me
I'm Teri. I am 52 years old, and I've been overweight most of my adult life. My diet and exercise program have me feeling better than I have ever felt before. I have lost close to 100 pounds since I began the Carbohydrate Addict's Lifespan Program in 2008, without starving or depriving myself in any way.
I am getting myself into better shape and my goal of becoming fit and healthy is getting closer every day. This will be my lifelong way of eating because I am happy to say that it comes natural to me!
