Results of My Fifteenth Month on CALP
I am having a hard time believing I have been following my program as long as I have. The best part about it is that it continues to be easy for me! I do not like feeling as if I can not control myself, and I can honestly say that I am in my comfort zone.
My trips to my folks house increased this month. Grandma ended up having a lot more bad days than good ones. My sister and I made ourselves a new schedule so one of us would always be there. One of us would spend seven days at our folks house and the other one would come back the following week. Grandma ended up losing her ability to get up on her own or stand on her feet. It was a very difficult time because grandma did not want to lose her freedom to do things on her own, but she was given no choice.
I have heard that it takes a few months to acquire a habit. I can honestly say that I am in the habit of eating properly and keeping my exercises on schedule. I do not know my exact weight when I began my weight loss program because I was too stubborn to step on a scale. I was probably more ashamed than stubborn, but that was then and this is now.
My progress may seem rather slow to others, but it is progress and I feel wonderful!

Chest: 42” for a total of 8" lost
Waist: 34-1/2" for a total of 11-1/2" lost
Hips: 41-3/4” for a total of 7-3/4" lost
Arm: 13-1/2" for a total of 2-1/2" lost
Leg: 23-1/4" for a total of 4-1/4" lost

I'm Teri. I am 52 years old, and I've been overweight most of my adult life. My diet and exercise program have me feeling better than I have ever felt before.
