I completed all 3 miles!

I was expecting the construction company first thing in the morning so I began my day by straightening up my house. It didn't take me very long because I have been keeping it up everyday and that makes a difference. As soon as I finished with my coffee, I began my exercises.

I was trying to decide what to eat for lunch and a salad sounded really good to me. I really enjoy my salads and adding the bacon, cheese, & shrimp, really makes it taste good to me. If I would have had an avocado to add to it, I would have.

The construction company wanted me to go to town so I could pick out the tiles for my fireplace hearth. The owner wanted me to go while the men were working and be back in time to give them the carpet samples when they were ready to leave. Since it takes me forty minutes just to go to town and back and I am not in the habit of leaving strangers in my house, I chose to go to town after the men left. When they got ready to leave and asked me for the carpet samples, I told them I needed it and would give it to them the following day. Luckily they understood that I needed the samples in order to match the tiles to it and didn't give me any problems.

I didn't leave for town until after 4 p.m., and went to the fireplace store. It only took me a few minutes to choose the tile and then I stopped at my sons place to give him some CDs his dad made for him. I had some returns to make at the hardware store so I made them before meeting my husband for dinner.

I called my husband and told him I was expecting to be in town around the same time he would be heading home and asked him if he wanted to meet me for dinner. We chose to meet at a Japanese restaurant where I knew I could balance my meal perfectly. Since I substitute an extra salad for the rice, I keep my food balanced and I always seem to be satisfied afterwards. I would have loved to have had a small amount of chocolate to top off my meal but by the time I checked out of Walmart, my hour was over.

While I was at Walmart I ended up buying some candy. I bought a couple bags of bite sized Snickers, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, and Almond Joys. I decided to get the bite sized candy bars because it is easier for me to start with an amount that allows me to balance with my meal instead of having to make myself stop on my own.
