Day Off!
I thought the weather was going to be cooler so I planned on working outside. The sky was overcast but it was warmer than I expected when I headed outside. I filled up the horses water and a couple of rabbit water bottles and when I finished I was weak and tired. Since I didn't have any energy, I came back into the house and decided to make myself lunch.
I defrosted a couple of pork chops and placed them in a pan so they would begin cooking. I opened a can of green beans and poured some vinaigrette over them and began eating them. When my pork chops were ready I started with one and then I took two bites off of the other one before placing it in the refrigerator. I am still trying to tune into my body and stop when I am satisfied.
I had asked my husband the other day to make us pizza for dinner. He makes pizza from scratch and begins by preparing the sauce. While it is cooking on the stove, he makes the crust. He always makes two pizzas and usually puts different toppings on them. Both pizzas were the same this time and contained canadian bacon, bell peppers, red onions, & olives. I began my meal with a salad, chopped a cucumber as my vegetable and poured some vinaigrette dressing over the top. When I finished my salad, I started with one piece of pizza. It was really good and I only had room for another small piece. I was completely satisfied with my meal and look forward to having pizza again in a day or so.
It was bowflex day but my husband and I put it off until the following day again. It is really nice to have that alternative because I know I will get it done.
