Having the plumber come first thing in the mornings is a good thing for me. I have been getting my house straightened up right when I wake up instead of sitting around on my computer. It is a good habit to get into because it feels much nicer to sit around in a clean house instead of knowing I still have it to do.
The plumber finished up with repiping our house and now we are expecting someone to come and replace the sheetrock. We already had one guy come and are expecting an estimate from him as well as two more. Once we get the sheetrock replaced, we can begin with the remodel downstairs.
As soon as I paid the plumber and sent him on his way, I got started with my exercises. I finished before noon and then it was time to fix myself lunch. I already had a couple of pork chops in the refrigerator so I did not have to defrost them before cooking them. I peeled a cucumber and after slicing it up, I began eating it while my pork chops finished cooking. I still love pork chops and they are much better right after they are freshly cooked.
I had a dentist appointment to get my teeth cleaned in the afternoon. I asked my husband if there was anything he wanted me to get from the grocery store while I was in town and he could not think of anything. I stopped at the store because I wanted some sour dough french bread to go with my steak instead of having chocolate another day. The store had St. Louis ribs on sale so I grabbed three packages and placed them into the freezer for another time.
My husband fired up the bbq and when it was time to put the steaks on, I made myself a salad. He was supposed to steam us some broccoli but he forgot to do it so I peeled a cucumber and diced it up to put on top of my salad. The vinaigrette salad dressing that I use is called LaMartinique and it is a really good tasting dressing. My steak was cooked to perfection and after my husband sliced a piece off for himself, he gave it to me. When he was finished with his piece he wanted more because he really liked the way it tasted. I cut him a couple more pieces off of my steak and told him to take his pick or to take both of them if he wanted. He ended up cutting the leanest part off of one of the pieces and left the rest for me. I prefer rib steaks over ribeye because I like the way the meat tastes closest to the bone. There was another steak sitting on the counter so I knew where there was more if I needed it. I was satisfied after sharing the steak with him and put the other one away for my lunch the following day. I finished my meal with some sour dough bread and butter but would have preferred chocolate. Since I am still trying to eat chocolate every other day, I did not have any.
