The plumber was coming back to finish replacing the pipes so I had to get busy straightening up my house before he got here. My house was not too bad and with the help of my husband, it didn't even take us an hour to get it all done.

I was hoping to be able to relax and watch the finals of the tennis tournament that I had recorded on my DVR. It took me several hours to watch it because I ended up placing it on pause many times for one reason or another.

I was in the mood for some pork chops for lunch and since I had purchased some the day before I did not have to defrost any. I cooked a couple of them and packaged the rest so I could place them in the freezer until the next time. I peeled myself a cucumber and was very pleased when it was not bitter like the last one I had tried.

I helped my husband with some bookkeeping in the afternoon and finally saw the end of the tennis match. My oldest daughter ended up coming over because her sister has one day off a week between work and school and she wanted to talk rabbits with her.

I made myself a salad for dinner because my husband had been snacking and wasn't very hungry. He offered to fire up the bbq and make me a steak but I told him it was not necessary. My husband purchased a package of bell peppers so he sliced a yellow one and I placed it on my salad. My salad was really good and the bell pepper was nice and sweet. I finished my meal with three chocolate fudge cookies and could have eaten more but it would not have been balanced if I did.
