Mile 2: 12 minutes of speed walking
Mile 3: 15 minutes to continue blasting calories as you burn body fat
I completed all 3 miles!
I had to get up early enough to get my exercises done before heading to my folks house. I usually drink my coffee before I begin, but I did not have enough time to do that. I poured myself a cup of coffee and allowed it to cool while beginning my exercises. I ended up drinking it while I was exercising and if I could have poured myself another cup, I would have. I finished my exercise and poured myself a second cup so I could take it with me while I was getting myself ready to go.
I packed myself a lunch and headed to town so I could pick up my oldest daughter and son at their apartments. We had made arrangements for them to go with me because it was Grandparent's Day the day before. My middle daughter could not join us because she was not feeling well and had a couple of classes to attend at college.
I stopped at Wendy's and fed my kids and they ate while we finished driving to my folks house. I fixed my lunch as soon as I got there. I warmed up the ribs and opened a can of green beans. I did not have any of my vinaigrette, so I ate them without it.
The kids helped my mom by organizing the cupboards, cleaning windows, cleaning the garage, and anything else that she asked them to do. She was very generous and ended up paying them for their time which pleased them very much. We were invited to join them for dinner but it was already 6 p.m., and we knew we still had a couple of hours before we would be home.
I thought I was going to meet my husband in town and we would eat out but he was tired and didn't feel like driving back to town. He offered to fire up the bbq and make us some cheeseburger patties, so I agreed. I stopped at the store to get me some cucumbers, pork chops, and I also picked up a package of Mother's Chocolate Fudge Cookies. When I arrived home I was rather pleased because my salad was already made for me. I peeled my cucumber, added it to my salad, and then all I had to do was pour the vinaigrette dressing over the top. I started eating my salad and discovered the cucumber was too bitter for me to eat so I scooped it to the side and warmed up some leftover broccoli. I finished my meal and topped it off with a couple of chocolate fudge cookies.
