I spent my morning catching up with my support groups, email, and updating my website. I was pretty tired from all the driving I had done over the last couple of days. The weather was beautiful and cool enough to work outside so I expected to head outside after lunch.
My lunch was simple enough. I had some leftover ribs and for my vegetable I opened a can of green beans and dribbled some vinaigrette dressing over them. My husband sure can cook and the ribs were seasoned perfectly.
After using the truck the last couple of days, I knew the backseat was cluttered with stuff and I wanted to clean it up. After everything was put away and orderly, my husband hooked up the shop vac so I could vacuum up the mess that remained on the floor. I spent so much time getting it all cleaned up, we were both ready to come into the house as soon as I finished.
My husband had suggested he make us a couple of bourbon glazed peppercorn steaks for dinner and I was not about to turn him down. He decided to make it with New York steak and I had no problem with that because it sounded wonderful. While the coals on the bbq were getting ready, my husband decided to make himself some tortilla chips as a snack. After he finished cutting up his corn tortillas and placed them into the oil, I asked him to cut some flour tortillas for me so I could have flour tortilla chips. My husband also steamed us some broccoli and my plate was a lovely site when I dished everything up. I will admit that I snacked on a couple of chips before my meal was ready but I am pretty sure everything was balanced.
I still had my bowflex workout to do and I thought I was going to be doing it alone. I got started on the first exercise and was surprised when my husband decided to join me. We each completed our exercises and I was definitely ready to call it a day.
