Leslie Sansone Walk at Home
3 Mile Weight Loss Walk...A "Power Walk" at Home!
Mile 1: 15 minutes of non-stop muscle moving steps to get you started
Mile 2: 12 minutes of speed walking
Mile 3: 15 minutes to continue blasting calories as you burn body fat
I completed all 3 miles!
I never had a chance to post to my support groups over the weekend so I decided to catch up with them. I was able to update my progress to all of them but it took me awhile since I always seem to have interruptions.
When I looked at the time I knew I had to begin my exercises because it was going to be afternoon by the time I finished. I had plenty of energy and even though my back/neck area is still sore, I was able to get through it without feeling any pain. I think it is wonderful that my exercises can still be done even when I am not 100%.
As soon as I finished my workout I made myself lunch. I had other choices but I chose to make myself a couple of pork chops. I ended up eating both of them because they were smaller than usual and they also taste a lot better when they are freshly cooked. I opened a can of green beans and grabbed the vinaigrette out of the refrigerator to add flavor. When I finished eating, I was satisfied and content!
We were all supposed to have leftovers for dinner but I was not hungry when my daughter and husband warmed up their food. When the time came for me to eat, I discovered an avocado that needed to be eaten so I added it to my salad. I was not very hungry so I decided to add bacon and cheese so I would have enough protein to try to balance it out and keep me satisfied. I still needed a carb to eat so I grabbed a small piece of candy and enjoyed another Reward Meal.

About me
I'm Teri. I am 52 years old, and I've been overweight most of my adult life. My diet and exercise program have me feeling better than I have ever felt before. I have lost close to 100 pounds since I began the Carbohydrate Addict's Lifespan Program in 2008, without starving or depriving myself in any way.
I am getting myself into better shape and my goal of becoming fit and healthy is getting closer every day. This will be my lifelong way of eating because I am happy to say that it comes natural to me!
