I completed all 3 miles w/the walk belt!

I had another busy day yesterday since I had an appointment to get the windshield replaced on one of our cars. I was able to get my exercise finished and then started making me lunch. I made it out of the house in plenty of time to make my appointment but I had to take my daughters dog, Tango, with me. My husband was going to be working from home and pick me up so I didn't have to waste three hours waiting for the car to be finished but he ended up having to go in for a meeting. Since I knew it would be a minimum of four hours before I would be able to return home, I grabbed the dog and went to my appointment.

My husband ended up taking my car with him to work so he could put new tires on it for me. We will be taking the motorhome but we will also take a car with us so we can get around a bit more easily. Once we park the motorhome it can stay parked until we are ready to leave again instead of unhooking everything and trying to squeeze it into places.

I called my daughter when I got to the glass shop but she didn't answer her phone. I left her a message and proceeded to walk towards her work to drop the dog off so I could go shopping. I walked over to AAA and got a camping book, map of Southern California, and travel book. It was not the smartest thing I ever did because I was already carrying the dog, a bottle of water, and my purse. I grabbed the bag and began walking knowing she was at lunch and would pick up her dog on her way back to work. She never did get a hold of me but I was heading up the hill when a very nice lady pulled over and offered me a ride. It was not very much further but I took the ride anyway. When we arrived at my daughters work the lady offered to wait for me and take me back to the glass shop which I didn't hesitate to take.

She actually dropped me off at K Mart and I ended up buying a couple of things and then I headed over to Walmart. When it was time for my car to be ready I looked into my basket and decided I didn't want to carry any of it with me so I parked my cart until I returned with my car. I ended up waiting at the glass shop for another thirty minutes and then went to retrieve my basket.

My son is living in an apartment and is struggling with paying the rent and buying groceries. I decided to buy him some food while I was out and filled up my basket full of food for him. I dropped off the bags of food to my son and then went to pick up Tango. It ended up taking me six hours from the time I left my house until I was able to return home.

I called my sister to tell her to make a list of any food she wanted to eat. She surprised me by telling me that she was going to try and eat whatever I did to see if following CALP would work out for her as well as it has for me.
