Mile 2: 12 minutes of speed walking

I completed all 3 miles!
I have spent my entire day planning a mini vacation. My daughter and I were planning on going camping in Lake Tahoe next week but I changed our plans. My husband will not be joining us because he didn't get the time off work and needs to stay home and take care of the animals. It is so nice that he gets to work from home.
Both of my daughters and I planned on going to the Monterey Bay Aquarium a few months ago and we never made it. I asked my middle daughter if she would like to begin her vacation at the aquarium and then we would head south to Universal Studios. Once she told me it was okay, I called my oldest daughter and asked her if she would like to join us.
When I called my sister and told her about my change of plans she sounded disappointed. I found out later that she was disappointed about having to go camping when she really wanted to join us. My sister was able to change her camping plans and will be joining both of my girls and me. While we are in Southern California I want to fit in a visit to Hollywood, Venice Beach, Rodeo Drive, Muholland Drive, and anything else I want to see or do.

I'm Teri. I am 52 years old, and I've been overweight most of my adult life. My diet and exercise program have me feeling better than I have ever felt before. I have lost close to 100 pounds since I began the Carbohydrate Addict's Lifespan Program in 2008, without starving or depriving myself in any way.
