2009 - CALP Low Carb Diet Journal

LowCarbForLife's picture

I have been following The Carbohydrate Addict's Lifespan Program for the last nine months now. It is a really great program for me because I get to decide what foods I want to eat. I am eating healthier since I eat a serving of vegetables with every meal and I also have a salad every day. I still get to enjoy my carbohydrate of choice on a daily basis, so I never feel deprived.

My program is more than an eating program for me. The CALP book suggests adding options to their program and I began including exercise as one of those options eight and a half months ago. I established a habit that I was able to easily resume after I recovered from having varicose vein surgery on one of my legs.

I have been using this journal to keep my menu and exercises updated on a regular basis and since I intend on following my program, it is time to begin a brand new year.

My entries will continue to include my menu and exercises from the previous day!

About me

I'm Teri. I am 52 years old, and I've been overweight most of my adult life. My diet and exercise program have me feeling better than I have ever felt before. I have lost close to 100 pounds since I began the Carbohydrate Addict's Lifespan Program in 2008, without starving or depriving myself in any way.

I am getting myself into better shape and my goal of becoming fit and healthy is getting closer every day. This will be my lifelong way of eating because I am happy to say that it comes natural to me!
