2008 - CALP Low Carb Diet Journal

LowCarbForLife's picture

I have been keeping a personal journal since I began The Carbohydrate Addict's Lifespan Program on March 3, 2008.

I have been successful in my attempt to follow this way of eating so I have decided to share my journey with others. I am not proud of the way I have looked for the last twenty five years and it was finally time for me to do something about it. I was three months shy of my forty ninth birthday when I decided to give this way of eating another try. I had tried CALP ten years earlier and found it to be a very easy program for me to follow.

The most important thing I do while following the program is to keep my food balanced. I only eat two meals a day even though the program allows me to eat up to four times every day. The program does not force me to eat breakfast which works well for me since I am never hungry in the mornings. I eat until I am satisfied and the combination of foods that I am eating seem to hold me over until my next meal.

I will be writing a daily entry that will include my menu and exercises from the previous day!

About me

I'm Teri. I am 52 years old, and I've been overweight most of my adult life. My diet and exercise program have me feeling better than I have ever felt before. I have lost close to 100 pounds since I began the Carbohydrate Addict's Lifespan Program in 2008, without starving or depriving myself in any way.

I am getting myself into better shape and my goal of becoming fit and healthy is getting closer every day. This will be my lifelong way of eating because I am happy to say that it comes natural to me!
