Day Off!
Time just keeps getting away from me. I woke up at a decent hour but I can't believe how much I have to do. It was nice knowing that I got the day off from exercise but I ended up working just as hard, if not harder.
I wanted a pork chop for lunch and there was one sitting in the refrigerator that needed to be cooked. I added some olive oil to the pan and after it was hot, I salt and peppered the pork chop before placing it in the pan. While it was cooking, I peeled a cucumber and sliced it up for me to eat while waiting for the pork chop to get done. I ate my pork chop when it was ready, and I was totally satisfied with my meal again.
I spent my entire afternoon cleaning and organizing the guest house since I am expecting visitors at Christmas time. I am happy with the progress I made but I still have to set up a bed and get the bedroom cleaned up and organized. I expect that I will be finished the next time I take it on though!
Dinner was home made turkey chili. My husband was making it for himself and I love chili cheese dogs so that is what I wanted for dinner. I began my meal with a salad by cleaning and cutting up the romaine lettuce. I grabbed six or seven stalks of celery and after cleaning them, I cut them up and put them on top of the lettuce. I drizzled some Ranch dressing over the top and began eating. My husband prepared my chili cheese dog as soon as I finished my salad and it was fantastic. I finished my meal by grabbing the last Hershey's w/almonds candy bar that I have and broke off a small piece. I had another satisfying meal and I still love this way of eating.
